A inconvenient self-portrait .
Welcome to my entire self by saying Hi to a part of me that until not too long ago was hidden to the sight of myself, or so I used to believe: my hidden side. I feel its presence is especially strong when I am by myself. It is guiding me to who I really am and to a more playful outlook of life. This takes place when I do not feel separated from the world because at that moment I am the world.
While in Toronto, Canada, this painting emerged as a game while in a playful mode. I couldn't finish it at the time and it had to be postponed for one reason or another until the opportunity arose. I love being able to complete my projects even when I have to leave them resting for sometime, even years.
