It was composite that emerged from a refinery pic. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder; ugly places sometime are the source of inspiration for a painting. I tend to forget that what visually traps me is only a projection of a complex set of beliefs that I have brewed over my entire life. In this case, a lit night landscape with fumes emitted by the structure triggered in me a sense of mystery. The facility does not matter; what matters is the ambience.
